April 8: Soul Matters: Emergence, Matthew Pianalto
The April 2018 Soul Matters theme is “Emergence.” In this presentation, UUFMC member Matthew Pianalto explores some ways that meaning emerges from how we choose to look at ourselves and the world around us. This presentation places special emphasis on the 4th Unitarian Universalist principle: “a free and responsible search for truth and meaning.” Matthew is also an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Eastern Kentucky University and author of the book On Patience; he moonlights as a banjo player. Contemporary music by the U-Band.
