Postponed – Flower Ceremony
April 12 @ 10:45 am - 11:45 am
All UUFMC services are postponed until further notice due to Covid-19.
Originally created in 1923 by Unitarian minister Norbert Capek in Czechoslovakia, our UU Flower Ceremony is an annual ritual celebrating our UU beliefs in human uniqueness, diversity, community, the hopefulness of spring, and the beauty and power of nature. Please bring flowers or colored eggs to place on our chalice table. We will take different flowers home and the children will make us egg salad sandwiches. Sure to be a joyful intergenerational service! This is also Community Sunday: We will pass a second plate for Hospice, collect food pantry donations, and enjoy a potluck!
