Discussion Group

UU’s believe there are few problems that cannot be addressed by a
combination of good coffee and conversation. This year the Madison
County Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will again augment its weekly
Sunday morning services with a monthly discussion group that is open
to all.

Jan. 24. Adult RE met this morning for our first time in the new series. We are discussing prejudice and intolerance. Our topics ranged from beliefs and experiences, to discussion of race and gender, to points of personal growth and desire for further personal growth.

The next RE meeting is at 9 AM Feb. 28. We are discussing prejudice and intolerance. The homework is to make a list of stereotypical words that describes YOU. This is not how others would describe you, this is about how you see yourself. eg. anglo, female, mother, etc. There will be a prize for the person who can describe him or herself with the word that shocks the most people in the group. This group is led by Dandelion.
